Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George has revealed that the World Economic and Investment Forum (WEFORUM) will be a tool to change the global trade narratives.

WEFORUM which is an international conference, trade summit, and product exhibition platform was created to facilitate international trade development and investment between countries.
Buchi George who is the President of the two partner organizations for WEFORUM said that, aside from being in line with what his organization does, the conference is timely as the world is trying to create a new chapter in trade and investment after the devastating effect of Covid-19.
“Recently we have learnt we all have strategies, but at some point, no single nation can survive alone”
“We saw that during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. Most nations struggled because there was never a good plan to deal with their neighbours” “Nations might be very comfortable with what used to be, this will be more of an opportunity for us to build something that will be long-lasting for the new normal”, he said.
WEFORUM will focus on business development, bilateral trade partnerships, economic cooperation and solutions for international trade and investment challenges.
It will also offer global stakeholders multiple opportunities to support and influence trade Investment and business development related to policy making, global matchmaking and outsourcing.
The international conference will also shape the business environment for trade growth and network with global business leaders and policies that come with the trade, according to the official website www.weiforums.com.
Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George further stated that WEIFORUM is a global initiative that will accelerate the transformation of global trade and investment, adding that it will connect continents through multilateral trade partnerships and trade cooperation.

“Our aim is simply to promote Investment Policies, Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT), G2G, B2B, B2C trade relationships and trade between continents through conferences, summits, expos, fairs that create value for all humanity and sectors.

Trade Nigeria, Globe Chambers of Commerce and Industry release plans for 2022

 “We will take Nigeria to every continent of the world”, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George said while talking about the 2022 plan of his organization.

Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George who is the president of Trade Nigeria and Globe Chambers of Commerce and Industry said that the organizations are committed to nothing but promoting Nigeria as a viable ground for trade and investment.

Hon. Buchi George who spoke in Abuja Nigeria said that they have a simple goal which is to sell Nigeria to Nigerians and other nations of the world.

“It has always been simple for us”, he said, adding that even when the goal is simple and clear, the process has mountains that need to be climbed.

“Taking it one country at a time has been our approach and no matter how you see it, we have to conduct researches to understand the best countries to partner with in our Trade Mission projects”

“Everyone in the team is hungry to score points and it is important for us to see that the work "we are doing is yielding tremendous results”, he said. 

To mark the 6th edition of the Nigeria Bilateral Economic Forum the organization has so far listed 12 countries with possibility of more as locations for the Joint Trade Missions in 2022.

Poland, Malta, France, Qatar, USA, Latvia, Turkey, Estonia and Czech Republic are some of the countries on the list.

Others are Korea, Japan, Ireland with a possibility of more as the year runs down according to Hon. Buchi George.
