Trade Nigeria, Today Launched the 3rd Edition of Her Trade Support Project Initiative


Trade Nigeria, today launched the 3rd Edition of Her Trade Support Project initiative, which aims to connect a million of women entrepreneurs to markets by 2020

Through Her Trade Support Programme, Trade Nigeria seeks to increase the participation of women entrepreneurs and producers in global value chains and to ensure that they enjoy greater economic benefits from participating in international and national trade.

The President/Chief Executive Office, Trade Nigeria. Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, during the unveiling of the project disclosed “Last year’s project has empowered over 1000 women traders each benefiting from the N60 million budgeted by the organization to support local traders. This year, arrangement has been put in place to further increase their competitiveness and boosts the likelihood of creating jobs, Sustainable economic growth and the achievement of development goals through the active participation of women in the country”.

GRAB & RIDE LAUNCHED IN NIGERIA


Grab & Ride a Transportation, Logistic and Payment Solution Company has been unveil in Nigeria.
The brand which is a subsidiary of FOW Company, a multinational establishment with investments in media, real estate, entertainment, trade/investment and other sectors, was unveiled in Abuja Nigeria, with the promise that it will transform the Transportation, Logistic and Payment Solution sector.
According to Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, the President/Chief Executive Officer of FOW World, Grab & Ride will provide exceptional services to clients “We have seen what the industry looks like and we are making substantial and exceptional investments in key areas to make our brand stand out”, Hon. Buchi said in Abuja, Nigeria.
He further stated that, he understands the business of Transportation and Logistics is built in trust over time, adding that they have machineries in place to ensure that their first set of clients will be leaving testimonies behind. “It’s a new brand and we have both local and international partners whom we are working with to see that everything is in place at the right time, to enable us lunch with a fully functional system, Aside our rides, we will also make it possible for people to flexibly send and receiving packages across the country and beyond, this also includes money via a payment solution that would be making life easier for Nigerians as we gradually move into a cashless economy”, he added.
Grab & Ride according to President/Chief Executive Officer of FOW World, Hon. Buchi George will be launched officially by March 2020 with fully functioning user friendly website and mobile application.

AFRICA - ASIA EXPORT CONFERENCE 2020:

Nigeria based International trade and Investment promoters, Trade Nigeria has kicked off for the year with a list of events that will change how Nigeria and other countries do business.

Unveiling plans for Africa – Asia Export Conference 2020 billed for Shanghai China in April, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, said there are more lined up for the year even before and after April.

“This IS big because we are working with African Union AU and the Chines government, knowing how much they contribute to global trade these days. If we can make things easier and more accessible on both ends, it will be very easy for both finished goods and raw materials to go either ways with little or no stress this year and beyond”

“Asia and Africa are more of the emerging worlds today and we need to take advantage of the massive hunger for trade and infrastructural development across these continents. Several African countries are involved, including Nigeria, because we have come to understand that events like this create the needed platforms, not only between nations, but between organizations who need them, so they can directly plan and implement their trade and investment strategies” he said.

The event is powered by Trade Nigeria and Biz Africa Shanghai in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment; Trade and Investment and other government agencies. Africa – Asia Export Conference 2020 has been scheduled to hold from April 25 to 30, 2020 in Shanghai China.

Speaking further, Hon. Buchi George revealed that in another move to solidify trade between Nigeria and the entire Asian Continent, Trade Nigeria is also working in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment; Trade and Investment and Department of Federal Ministry of Foreign affairs, Nigeria Embassy in Korea and Korea embassy in Nigeria to establish Nigeria - Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum billed for February 24 to 29 2020.

“The Korea event is part of the Nigeria – Asia Business and Economic Forum, which will also take place in China, Japan, Vietnam and Taiwan”

“we’re looking forward to a mega outing that will showcase what Nigeria is made of, with the likes of Nigerian business moguls, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola and Tony Elumelu as speakers at the event, as well as an icing performance from our own afro-pop diva, Tiwa Savage” he concluded.
