Trade Nigeria, Today Launched the 3rd Edition of Her Trade Support Project Initiative


Trade Nigeria, today launched the 3rd Edition of Her Trade Support Project initiative, which aims to connect a million of women entrepreneurs to markets by 2020

Through Her Trade Support Programme, Trade Nigeria seeks to increase the participation of women entrepreneurs and producers in global value chains and to ensure that they enjoy greater economic benefits from participating in international and national trade.

The President/Chief Executive Office, Trade Nigeria. Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, during the unveiling of the project disclosed “Last year’s project has empowered over 1000 women traders each benefiting from the N60 million budgeted by the organization to support local traders. This year, arrangement has been put in place to further increase their competitiveness and boosts the likelihood of creating jobs, Sustainable economic growth and the achievement of development goals through the active participation of women in the country”.
