The Nigeria - Korea Economic and Investment Forum that was postponed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic has gotten the gong to go ahead with suspended plans.
speaking with some newsmen in Abuja, the Chairman of Trade Nigeria, Hon. Buchi George expressed his excitement saying, Korea has been the focus of business, adding that every business minded country want to partner with Korea on economic development and enhancement.
The gaffer who has been making waves when it comes to strategic partnership between nations, said one major way out of damage done by the Covid-19 pandemic is partnering with nations.
"partnering with Korea trade organization will ensure that the dividends of the program will be highly felt by both nations".
Speaking from Abuja yesterday when he hosted some trade giants in the field of international trade, stated that the Nigeria - Korea Economic and Investment Forum is a strategically planned event targeted at drawing master-plans, investments and other strategies between Europe and Africa before the pandemic struck.
“What we are looking at is to figure out countries who have gotten it right in areas we are still working on. We look at what they have as well as what we can offer them and that is how it all begins”
"There are always things we can offer each other and for us at Trade Nigeria Organization, we believe one way out of African's situation in terms of development is strategic partnership among us and nations of other continents”
"The key thing about progression is always having a plan in the midst of the new normal. the damage done on the global economy by the covid-19 pandemic is obvious for every nation to see and what Trade Nigeria have is a recovery plan for Nigeria and other African nations".
“Normally these are plans that will help us to grow, but we will be using them to heal from the pandemic. It has been a very tough time for nations around the world, but if we all can come together to share strategically, Africa and the entire world will bounce back within a short time” he added.
