The Nigeria - Japan Trade Mission and Business Delegation which has being confirmed to kick start in Tokyo, Japan from the 3rd to 10th of June 2021, is still working with the proposed date, as activities for a successful program is in top gear.
The event according to the organization will Fast track a large volume of bilateral trade between Nigeria and Japan, and pave way for subsequent transaction within the Asia community. The event will also be used as a medium to showcase, sell and bring back the pride of the Nigeria brand after the devastating effects of covid-19 pandemic.
With the event fixed for October2021, the chairman of Trade Nigeria, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, believes that the proposed date will be a great time to have the event, adding that, he believes by then there would be no form of distraction or global panic.
“We need to open up the world with ideas”, Hon. Buchi George said, while speaking from Abuja, Nigeria. He further stated that one of the ideas to open up the world is to find ways nations and continents can partner to achieve a greater but common good.
“Japan is a great nation and they can offer us a lot, while we can do same for them. We’re working on a union that will encourage trade, investments and economic development in both ways. working with appropriate authorities in several countries is one thing we are doing at the moment and we will be announcing a lot of participating nations and activities before the time of the event”
